tcp_wrappers and ipchains

Hey everybody,

I understand why I would want to have tcp_wrappers installed on my server
to restrict access to services by remote users. I'm not clear on the
relationship between tcp_wrappers and ipchains. It seems like they perform
similar functions. My server sits behind a firewall now (although a *very*
porous one). Should I use ipchains on my LAN server even though it's not
directly connected to the Internet?
