yellow dog and other linux for macs

Hi all,

I'm new to the list. I'm wondering if any of you local fellow linux
enthusiasts are running yellow dog  or linux PPC or even mklinux for
that matter. I've setup a few i386 boxes but this is my first attempt at
getting my Mac9500 running linux. No one in my office has ever tried
running linux on any of the macs here and I'm looking for someone
locally to compare notes with.
